Progress continues on a new woodblock print of a treetop lookout tower--due to hit our online shop tomorrow morning! Part of our latest LIFE OF LEISURE Series, this 12" x 9" print imagines a three story lookout station built up the trunk of a sturdy tree. Soft color will build in layers through the printing of the blocks above to create a gentle image of a stacking treehouse outpost. More soon!

Introducing a new little print in our ongoing LIFE OF LEISURE Woodcut Series ~ "LEAF BOAT!" Printed from two hand-drawn, hand-carved woodblocks in a crisp blue green and rich sanguine brown onto Ivory Somerset paper. A looped elm leaf sail and a cupped, spike-edged oak leaf are pinched together by a small curving stick in this joyful image of a simply built, makeshift toy boat. Two smaller, delicate leaves stand in for a flag and an oar tip!

Roadtrips are on the mind as the summertime progresses…the glowing golden vistas driven into and out of as we make our ambling way from place to place. Our "RV" print (Short for Recreational Vehicle) celebrates ramblin' life on the road--the freeing feeling of getting away, exploring, and seeing for oneself. A rounded mobile truck home is decked for travels with folky charm and laid back amenities (like a back porch with windchimes!) as it rolls across this sunny scape framed by a rainbow.

Part of our recent and on-going LIFE OF LEISURE Woodcut Print Series, this image aims to inspire a connection to those moments in life that bring great joy and pleasure without great expense. Take a moment to scroll through the other prints in this series ~ many going fast or almost sold out!
