Had a big newsletter day over the weekend ~ the "GARDEN" Print color has been finalized!

From the careful sprinkling of a handful of seeds into sun-baked soil, a garden grows. Climbing bean spires, exotic purply eggplants, dancing star-shaped cucumber leaves, magenta-ripe beet tubers, crisp, tall stalks topped with sunflowers and fanning zucchini fronds, the familiar spheres of tomato fruits ripening on the vine ~ the magic of self grown harvest. All yours for the taking…


A carpet of grassy wilderness rings the rising golden mound upon which this delicately pruned "GARDEN" rests. A tabby cat peers at a rabbit munching on a sprouting bush; a snake slithers through the grass blades. The "GARDEN" presents an age-old scene, a testament to our ability to provide for ourselves, nudging nature to our benefit. A rope lashed fence defines its borders, its entrance ungated and a path to its center set in log slices. Tools and baskets, a pump and a bucket, and an assortment of small decorative flourishes (a golden wind bell, a hollow gourd birdhouse, dangling ornaments) lend a human touch to the artful arrangement of foliage, both edible and decorative in this 5 block color woodcut print.
