Whew! So, our Print Cart (no longer a cart on wheels) has fully transformed into the Tugboat Printshop Pop-Up Street Gallery! We managed to finish all of our little updates and additions just in time for this past weekend's Renegade Craft Fair. And what a sun-soaked, jam-packed, super fun, whopper of a weekend it was! Thanks so much for the good times & swell vibes, Chicago!
For those of you that visited Tugboat Printshop at the fair, you have been the first to discover/hear/see our latest non-print related news, too… Which we'll now officially share with you all… WE"RE EXPECTING!!! Exclamation points!!!
Just few minor tinkers & adjustments to be made to our roof before we hit the road for Crafty Bastards in DC the weekend on Saturday, October 1. As we prepare for this and other fall & holiday events, stay tuned for new prints! For sneak peeks of blocks already in the works, take a look back through the past few months of blog posts. A few other secret projects on the table yet to appear, too :)
We are in the process of transforming the Tugboat Printshop Print Cart into the new Tugboat Printshop Pop-Up Street Gallery for the upcoming Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago, IL, this weekend ~ September 10 + 11, 2011! Over the rainy weekend we burrowed away to touch up paint on all of the panelled walls & begin tackling a new design for the roof. (Bravo to Paul on a smashy new design!) We've eliminated the rolly cart to make a more spacious viewing room...think it's gonna be pretty rad! Stay tuned for more pics & info as we wrap it all up this week!
Tugboat Printshop will soon be packing up the print cart and heading to Chicago, IL for the annual RENEGADE CRAFT FAIR on Division Street!!! Mark you calendars for September 10 + 11, 2011! You can find out all the rest you'll need to know about this fabulous DIY event on the RENEGADE CRAFT FAIR CHICAGO website ~ hope to see all of your happy faces there! (We should mention that we won't be making it to the winter show this year, so this will be our big in-person stop in Chicago for 2011!)
