Here's one to start: the "ACORN" woodcut!
The beginnings of a mighty oak sprout from an acorn cap. Brown gives way to gold, unfurling then in bright sap green. Geometric patterns pulse with the energy of growth! The tree shoots up, spreading leaves to sunbeams.
Two woodblocks, both printed in split fountains, make the print. "ACORN" is 13" x 10" on Natural Kitakata, 100 prints total. Get your copy HERE!

Happy to welcome a new print to the shop today, the charmingly curio sized "TREE SWING" woodcut! Printed from 2 blocks onto Natural Japanese Kitakata Paper. Final size is an adorably petitie 6" x 5.75".
Blending dusty rose & weathered brown, "TREE SWING" imagines a favorite place, a meet-up spot, a carefree zone. A special little somewhere thoughts can swoosh in & out with the breeze. Edition of 100, now available HERE!

The finished "FIREPIT" print! A 12" x 10.5" color woodcut print on Ivory Somerset Paper (printed from 2 blocks). Part of a new 4 woodcut set, "THE FOUR ELEMENTS".
The red hot coals of this masterly stoked "FIREPIT" cast a deep orange glow. Smoke tendrils ribbon and wisp upwards from the flames. Skewered mushrooms and onions sizzle and crispen while a lidded iron cook pot simmers in the flame tips. Aromas from the feast mix with trails of twirling smoke. Rich blue harkens evening, dusklight a rainbow of orange to pink to blue.
