It was a wet, water-logged weekend @ the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago's Wicker Park September 13 + 14, 2008. We debated at least 10 times whether or not we should stay with the tremendous amount of rain + wind that was pummeling the event. In the end, we stayed--and we are so glad that we did! (Thank goodness for plastic bags, piping hot cups of coffee, and concrete tent weights!) Not only were the hundreds of other vendors resilient + upbeat (considering)--the crowds that attended were so friendly and understanding. We were so impressed!

I concur! Every vendor I met was so friendly and warm and there was a definite sense of "we're in this together!". It was so nice to meet you guys and see your fabulous work!
