We played 'hooky' today and took a day-trip across town (we refer to these jaunts as mini vacations--because Pittsburgh's neighborhoods are so distinct that we ultimately feel as if we're switching cities when crossing from one neighborhood to the next) to Frick Park. It was awesome! We tromped around for hours on the snowy trails and saw make-shift shelters and deer and nature at her winter-y best.
